Introduce myself

 

Hi, I'm Beomsoo, and 29 year-old guy

Now I'm in between jobs so I'm doing this for looking a job so I just hope I come across well to you and get a good score!

Anyway, I was born and still living in Seoul with my family.

and I think I can tell you what I'm interested in thesedays

From stopping studying for toeic, Learning English became a kinda hobby now, so it's not stressful anymore. Of course when I feel my English has stagnated, it's so annoying but what can I do? the only thing I can do is "keep doing this"

and recently I started writing! actually I really suck at writing but it'd be good to organize my thoughts and sometiems it can make me come up(remind) my old memories.

I think writing is always important at work, love or even death like making a will. so now I'm really bad at writing but it's getting better and someday it'd be really helpful for my life!

Weather

 

1. Tell me about the seasons in your country. What season do you like best? Why do you like it? What things do you usually do in that season?

I like Winter best, there are many reasons for that so allow me to expalin one after another

First, I hate summer! ´cause Summer in Korea is really humid and hot... so it always makes me feel sticky, terrible and awful. it's so horrible but in winter, It's okay. I just can stand the cold air.

And in Summer even if you feel so hot, you can't take your clothes off anymore but In Winter, if you get a cold snap, you can put on clothes as much as you want. I think it's kinda proper reason for that.

and Finally, you know, in Korea there is a thing called Magic Shoe Insole which means that is.. kinda thick insole to be taller. I'm little bit short.. so sometime I need it but in Summer I usually wear sneakers so I can't use it but In Winter I like to wear boots so I can use it everytime I want! it's really great for me!

 

2. What kind of things do Korean people do during summer and winter seasons? Tell me in detail.

In summer,

During the summer, people usually go on vacations. Of course, the beaches are generally the hot places. 경포대, 해운대, 대천 are most famous beaches. These places are so energetic and lively, but so crowded. So some people who like rafting or fishing go to valleys and rivers. These places are less crowded than beaches, but during the vacation times, these places also are crowded.

And during the winter, people usually go skiing and snowboarding. So ski resorts are very crowded, so some people go spa. Generally older person go to spa because it is very relaxed and warm.

And young person enjoy winter sports. And they importantly think about Christmas. So many students feel too much press of dating expense. So I think that this Christmas culture must change like American style that focuses on family.

In short, I think all of world people are similar to activity in the each season.

 

3. Do you have some memorable things about the weather? If so, how was the weather at that time? What happened? Why was it memorable to you?

The most memorable moment regarding weahter happened... quite long time ago. When I was in military service, that winter, it snowed the heaviest for more than a century. The military bases shall always remain in battle capable condition, because Korea is technically still at war. At that time, I had to shovel and sweep away snow during the snowing. The snow was viewed as nothing more than trash falling from the sky. However much I shoveled out, the snow was endlessly stacked up on the yard. The scene is still lingering in my eyes to this today.

And at that time, Korean winter liked to Siberian, because Siberian very cold air mass was coming to Korea. So 연천’s lowest degree is around minus 30 degree Celsius. I don’t forget that air until now.

 

4. What is the weather like in your city today?

Now in Korea Spring is around the corner.

 

It is summer in Korea.

Summer in Korean is usually rainy season, so it is very hot and humid. And the average temperature is around 30 degree Celsius.

But today is a little cool, because yesterday, it was heavy rain.

I generally don’t like sweating and clammy air, so I don’t like summer.

But I love water sports, such as wake board, windsurfing and others. Generally I go to 가평 for wake board about twice in summer. And sometime I go to beach and waterpark. These places are very joyful and have good sceneries. So although it is very hot and humid, sometimes I like summer.
